EXPOSED: Aquino purchased P1.9 Billion worth of useless and defective rifles?

In the previous months, people were made aware of the multimillion worth of useless fighting aircrafts purchased by the Aquino administration. The controversy sprang up after President Rodrigo Duterte declared martial law in the entire Mindanao region. That is, the highly expensive aircrafts basically overpriced, could have helped government troops significantly in their anti-terrorism operations.

Just months after the controversy was declared out in the open, here comes another plunderous billion-ranging anomaly still involving former President Benigno Aquino III. The new controversy was shared by Jay Sonza, a former GMA news broadcaster and journalist.

In his recently published Facebook post, Sonza narrated how this significant piece of information reached him.

"I just got information from my friends from the Department of National Defense. This is about the guns of our armed forces that the government bought days after Benigno Aquino III became the Philippine President." Sonza initiated.

Further elaborating the details of the anomaly, Sonza wrote:

"According to the info, almost 61,000 M4 rifles worth P1.9 Billion are now dumped somewhere, useless because they are all defective."

With much concern to his people especially to his fellowmen in service, President Rodrigo Duterte did his best to address and give justice to the issue thereby cleaning up the mess his predecessor had caused.

"The Duterte government gave Remington, the manufacturer of the guns, 3 months to to repair the defective firearms. These rifles would have replaced the obsolete MI6 and M14 armalite rifles that our soldiers are currently using,” claimed Sonza.

"Even before this, the Armed Forced of the Philippines and the Department of National Defense received a report from the Army Markmanship Training Center that indicated major defects on the M4 Rifles from Remington. Of note was the defective rear sight when shooting at targets 100 to 200 meters away from the gun,” he added elaborately.



Conclusively, Sonza pinpointed the uselessness and defectiveness of military supplies purchased by the previous administration under the watch of former President Benigno Aquino III. Presenting two possible yet disadvantageous options, Sonza wrote conclusively:

"The Department of Defense have no recourse should Remington refuse to fix the thousands of rifles as the rifles have already been paid immediately a few days before the 2016 election when BS Aquino was still president. If Remington refuses, the rifles can only be sold as scrap metal by the kilo or sell it to the black market illegally.”
