The main “spotlight” of the viral pot session of seven teens has also surrendered to the authorities this Tuesday night.

Seven teens took a video of themselves smoking weed, taunting and cursing President Rodrigo Duterte last 2016. Just a few days ago it surfaced when one of the members’ Facebook was hacked.
Six out of the 7 surrendered yesterday voluntarily. However, people have been wondering where the main person was. Because he was the one in front of the camera the whole time, the others were just in the background.

Main actor

The suspect who was identified as Randel Luis Roque voluntarily surrendered to the authorities a day after six of his companions in the videos did.

According to NCRPO Chief Guillermo Eleazar during the press conference, the main suspect attempted to hide in the Bicol Region but was persuaded to surrender when he heard that his companions already surrendered.

During the ambush interview, it was found out that the suspect is a freshman in college, and if given a chance, he wants to continue his studies.

“Gusto ko sanang ituloy yung pag aaral ko, kasi po last chance na po sa akin ito,” the main suspect said.

He also said that he was afraid of the authorities that’s why he went to the Bicol Region.

Punishment

During the interview, the mother of the suspect was also there and she said that they’re ready to accept any punishment from President Rodrigo Duterte. She also apologized to the people who watched the video of her child.

“Humihingi po kami ng kapatawaran, sa ginawa ng anak ko. Buong puso po kaming humihingi ng tawad, sa lahat, sa buong Pilipinas,” the mother pleaded.

The seven suspects would face charges for using illegal drugs and unjust vexation for disrespecting the president.
