PNoy Dreamt Of Having A Nobel Prize, Which President Duterte Just Might Bag

What may have just been a dream for former president Pnoy to win a Nobel Prize, can actually be a reality for President Rodrigo Duterte, a geo-political expert says.

CAB

During the days of Pnoy in 2014, the idea of him winning a Nobel prize surfaced when he signed the then Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB).

However, the Senate that was then led by Bong Bong Marcos shut the idea down, and that dream went away.

BOL

Today, what Pnoy dreamt of may be a reality for President Duterte as he signed the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL).

If things move forward as they planned, the Bangsamoro people’s aspiration of autonomy is within their grasp and an era of peace may be known in greater Mindanao.

Long Awaited Peace

Ever since the Spanish times, what all the leaders who sat from that time up until the last president, not one of them were able to give peace to greater Mindanao.

And two days after his 3rd SONA, Duterte just made a major step towards it.

Geo-political expert and director of Eurasiafuture thinks the president deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for his major step.

“By working to end a centuries-long protracted and manifold conflict through a combination of legal intensity, cultural compassion and human outreach towards the Moros, Duterte has taken a major step towards doing something that the Spanish and American imperialists, Japanese occupiers and previous Filipino leaders could not do: bring peace to the Bangsamoro region and the Moro people,”
Prior to this, President Duterte was already nominated for China’s equivalent for the Nobel Peace Prize which is the Confucius Peace Prize in 2017.

It was won by Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Sen.

Yellow Frustration

While some people are excited about the chance that our president might have, several of them couldn’t help but wonder how Pnoy and the Liberal Party may feel if ever Duterte bags the award.
