Police Who Slapped A Bus Driver Got Reprimanded By NCRPO Chief Guillermo And Relieved From His Post

Yesterday a police officer was caught on cam slapping a bus driver on the face twice because the bus driver didn’t want to give him his license.

Reprimanded

In the video, the police officer was arrogant and was even cursing after he had slapped the driver.

Today, he was called to the office by NCRPO Chief Guillermo Eleazar who is known to reprimand his policemen in public when they do something wrong.

In the video, the police officer lost all his arrogance and was all “yes” to Guillermo.

The story behind this was that he slapped the money that the bus driver was trying to pay him as “areglo.” But Guillermo says that he should have just issued a ticket to the driver and not result in violence.

“Pero just the same, napakaganda sana kung hinuli mo nalang. Diba? Hinuli mo, tinicketan, tapos na.”

Police Honor

Also according to Guillermo, it is in those little things that a policemen’s honor can be seen. What if he wasn’t caught in video, then he would just go on and think that it is ok to do that.

The officer in question is now relieved from his duty in Paranaque and transferred to the Regional Headquarters Support Group ng NCRPO.

The driver is now being called to formally file a case against the police officer.
